I'm planning on sleeping in a tent, for various reasons. I'll be going through some remote areas, and while there are hotels and guesthouses, they aren't open through the night. I have a very lightweight tent, and it should be easy to find a private spot. With a hotel, there's also the risk of spending more time than necessary, and it might be mentally tough to get going in the morning. If I was riding with a group that was all planning to stay at a hotel, though, I would join them.

OMG that's amazing I would be very interested in riding this with you if it is still on, like yourself I REALLY don't like cycling through the night on my own. I haven't done many rides this year due to a medical condition but I'm sure to be back after all this medical stuff has finished. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the kind words Tor, and reading through! Good luck next week on your 600. Do you plan on camping/sleeping outside or hotel? Have a great weekend.
